Are you an organised individual with a passion for logistics? Our client, an innovative engineering organisation, is seeking a dedicated Stores Operative to join their team in Kettering! This is your chance to play a vital role in managing spare parts and ensuring smooth operations in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Goods Receiving: Efficiently receive goods for stock and accurately book them onto the SERVICE GEENI and SICON systems.
- Stock Management: Safeguard stock and coordinate to ensure optimal security.
- Picking & Packing: Handle ad hoc picking lists, pick, pack, and despatch parts with precision.
- Inventory Control: Collaborate with the Accounts Department to manage the Spares inventory and conduct weekly/quarterly audits.
- Expediting Deliveries: Ensure timely delivery of overdue and priority parts.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate stock records and provide photographic evidence for international shipments.
- Customer Support: Provide 24-hour response for spare parts requests.
What We're Looking For:
Education & Skills:
- Good standard at GCSE/O'levels.
- Forklift Truck Driving Licence is essential.
Experience:
- Previous stock control experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with order processing systems and Excel for reporting.
Competencies:
