We are currently recruiting on behalf of a long-established, family-run manufacturing business with a strong reputation in the industry. Having successfully operated for many decades, the company is continuing to grow and is looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in producing high-quality work. The successful candidate will be a team player, able to follow procedures accurately, and willing to support various operational tasks throughout their shift.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 3:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing raw materials for the manufacturing process
- Operating mill control panels and associated equipment
- Ensuring production processes are completed in line with company procedures and quality standards
- Maintaining accurate production records
- Carrying out routine mill cleaning schedules
- Packing finished products and stacking them onto pallets
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials using a Forklift Truck (FLT)
- Testing and approving raw materials
- Safely storing products within warehouse racking systems
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
- Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team culture
