Our client is a well-established and respected manufacturing business based near Maidstone. Following an internal promotion, they are looking to appoint a Health & Safety Manager to take ownership of all health, safety and compliance activities across their manufacturing, warehouse, office and remote sales operations. This is a highly visible role where you'll spend time working closely with managers and employees on site, helping to embed best practice and create a positive safety culture throughout the business. The company already has strong foundations in place, including digital systems and access to specialist external consultants for complex technical areas. If you're currently working as a Health & Safety Advisor and are ready to progress into a management role, full support will be provided, including ongoing professional development and NEBOSH progression where required. Leading health and safety activities across the manufacturing site and wider business Developing and improving policies, procedures and management systems Carrying out risk assessments, audits, inspections and compliance reviews Supporting managers and supervisors to improve safety awareness and accountability Managing contractor safety, RAMS reviews and permit-to-work systems Monitoring KPIs and reporting performance to senior management Driving employee engagement and promoting a positive health and safety culture Supporting operational projects and continuous improvement initiatives Ensuring compliance with all relevant UK health and safety legislation You may already be a Health & Safety Manager, or perhaps you're a Health & Safety Advisor looking for the next step in your career.
