Our client, a leading manufacturer of nonwoven materials and engineered papers, is seeking reliable and motivated Shift Production Operatives to join their production team.
The Role
As a Shift Production Operative, you will be responsible for operating production machinery, carrying out quality checks, supporting production activities, and helping to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery safely and efficiently.
- Perform quality checks and accurately complete production records.
- Follow standard operating procedures at all times.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards within the production area.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and support effective shift handovers.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and health & safety requirements.
- Wear and use the appropriate PPE at all times.
- Undertake training across a range of production processes and machinery.
What We're Looking For
- Previous manufacturing or production experience.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern.
Shift Pattern
Working on either the A, B, or C shift pattern, covering both days and nights (6am to 6pm / 6pm to 6am). Full shift details will be provided during the recruitment process. No weekend working is currently required.
