We're currently recruiting for a skilled Jig Shop Joiner to join a busy and well‑established caravan manufacturing team based in the HU7 area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced joiner who enjoys hands‑on, practical work in a fast‑paced production environment.
Shift & Pay
- Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 5:45pm
- Pay Rate: £14.44 per hour
- Long weekend every week - Friday off
Key Responsibilities
- Producing and assembling high‑quality wooden components for caravan interiors
- Working from jigs, drawings, and templates to ensure accurate construction
- Using a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Measuring, cutting, and preparing timber and panels to required specifications
- Completing quality checks to ensure all components meet company standards
- Supporting other production areas when required
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Working to daily production targets and following instructions from team leaders
Requirements
- Previous experience as a joiner, jig shop joiner, or similar woodworking role - essential
- Experience within caravan or modular manufacturing - desirable
- Ability to read measurements and follow drawings accurately
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high‑quality workmanship
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Positive attitude with good teamwork skills
