About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our client's team in Aberdeen. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term role with a growing organisation following an initial temporary period. The position is varied and hands-on, combining general warehouse duties and support with garment decoration processes such as heat sealing.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with garment decoration, including heat sealing
- Pick, pack, and prepare stock for internal use and customer dispatch
- Drive the company vans to complete deliveries (this will only be sometimes)
- Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently
- Carry out general warehouse duties to support daily operations
- Deliver stock using company vans when required
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and adhere to all health and safety procedures
- Support the wider team in meeting operational targets and deadlines
Requirements
Essential:
- Previous warehouse experience
- Good understanding of health and safety within a warehouse environment
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- Experience in garment decoration or heat sealing
- Background in a retail or store-based warehouse environment
Personal Attributes
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
