We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Network Operations Engineer to join a high-performing Network Operations Centre (NOC) supporting a broad portfolio of private and public-sector clients. You'll work across complex, multi-technology environments, helping to deliver stable, secure, and high-performing network solutions throughout their full life cycle.
As a Network Operations Engineer within our NOC, you will play a key role in delivering advanced support across enterprise networks while working with cutting-edge technologies such as SD-WAN, Wireless LAN, and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the diagnosis and resolution of complex Level 3 network incidents
- Owning and implementing network changes and service requests across diverse technical landscapes
- Providing deep technical expertise on advanced network issues, ensuring stability and security
- Building your expertise through access to training, certifications, and hands-on exposure to next-generation networking solutions
We're looking for a confident and skilled network professional who brings:
- Extensive enterprise networking experience with relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto certifications)
- Strong hands-on experience with Firewalls including Fortinet, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, and Cisco Firepower
- Solid knowledge of SD-WAN technologies and familiarity with SASE frameworks, including Fortinet SASE and other leading solutions
- Expertise across key networking areas: LAN/WAN, MPLS, VPN, VLAN configuration, Network segmentation, QoS, Advanced routing and switching
- Knowledge of network security principles, load balancing, and cloud networking integration
- Good working knowledge of ITIL processes
To join us in this role, you must be eligible to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. This requires: We can accept British Nationals/Dual Nationality/ILR Visa/EU Settlement status but need continuous residence in the UK for the past 5 years, and no longer than 28 consecutive days spent outside of the UK during this time.
