We are supporting a regional public sector organisation to appoint an Interim Procurement Manager to support delivery across a high-profile transport programme. This is a key role within a growing combined authority environment, offering the opportunity to work on complex, high-value procurement activity that will directly support infrastructure and regional development.

You will take the lead on a range of procurement and commercial activities, supporting the delivery of services within the transport programme. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading end-to-end procurement exercises, from scoping through to award
  • Providing expert guidance on procurement strategy, routes to market, and compliance
  • Supporting commissioners to develop business cases and procurement approaches
  • Managing tender processes, evaluations, and documentation
  • Building effective supplier relationships and supporting contract performance

  • CIPS qualification (or equivalent experience) is highly desirable
