Our client, a prominent public sector organisation with a diverse and complex property portfolio, is seeking a dynamic Interim Estates Surveyor to join their team! What You Will Do:
- Support Leadership: Assist the Service Manager - Property and Investment in managing the estates function, stepping in for senior officers when needed.
- Resolve Backlogs: Lead efforts to progress and resolve outstanding lease renewals, rent reviews, and landlord-tenant matters across a varied commercial property portfolio.
- Manage Caseload: Oversee a diverse range of commercial property matters, including industrial units, offices, shops, and cafés, ensuring efficient management of lettings, lease events, and rental income.
- Negotiate Successfully: Engage in negotiations for lease renewals, rent reviews, and other property agreements that safeguard the organisation's financial interests.
- Conduct Valuations: Assist with valuations, rental assessments, and other related tasks.
