We're recruiting for an experienced and hands-on Installation Service Engineer to join a well-established and growing engineering team. This role offers a great balance between workshop-based work in Hull and working away on installations (approx. 50/50 split). You'll play a key role within the installation team while also supporting service and maintenance activities across customer sites. This position would suit someone with solid experience and a professional approach, who can work independently and contribute positively to a skilled team environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out mechanical installation and assembly work both in-house and on-site
- Supporting full equipment installs across the UK and overseas
- Assisting with servicing, maintenance, and repairs of equipment
- Diagnosing faults and delivering effective, timely solutions
- Reading and interpreting engineering and electrical drawings
- Supporting basic electrical panel wiring and panel build work
- Conducting site surveys, install checks, and commissioning activities
- Working collaboratively within the shopfloor team in Hull
- Delivering a high level of customer service when on-site
