Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for an Industrial Cleaner to work within a fast-paced production environment based in Hyde. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term prospects for the right candidate. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the production site, ensuring all areas meet health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and sanitising production machinery, equipment, and work areas
- Ensuring all cleaning is carried out in line with health and safety and hygiene standards
- Using industrial cleaning tools and chemicals safely and effectively
- Disposing of waste and recycling materials in the correct manner
- Cleaning factory floors, communal areas, and high-traffic zones
- Working closely with production teams to ensure minimal disruption
- Completing cleaning records and following scheduled cleaning plans
Requirements
- Previous experience in industrial or commercial cleaning preferred
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced production environment
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Able to carry out manual handling tasks
- Flexible approach to duties as required
