- About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Assistant to join a well-established Hull-based business operating within the supply and distribution sector.
This role would suit someone with some previous marketing experience who is looking to further develop their skills within a busy and supportive environment.
The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the company's marketing activities, helping to strengthen brand awareness and engage with customers across a variety of channels.
This is initially a fixed-term contract until February 2027, although there may be the opportunity for the contract to be extended for the right person.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the delivery of marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Creating and managing content across social media platforms.
- Assisting with website updates and digital content.
- Producing marketing materials to support business objectives.
- Helping to maintain and strengthen the company's brand presence.
- Monitoring engagement and performance across marketing channels.
- Supporting internal communications and promotional activities.
- Working closely with various departments to understand and promote products and services.
- Assisting with general marketing administration as required.
About You
The ideal candidate will have
- Previous experience within a marketing role.
- Experience managing social media platforms in a professional capacity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Desirable
- Experience using a design software.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing principles.
- Experience updating website content.
- A relevant marketing qualification.
