Roofer - Caravan Manufacturing Location: HU7
Pay Rate: £14.44 per hour
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am - 5:45pm
We are currently recruiting an experienced Roofer to join a leading caravan manufacturer based in HU7. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled roofer who takes pride in precision, quality workmanship, and working within a fast‐paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out roofing work on caravan units
- Install roof structures, frameworks, insulation, membranes, and exterior finishes
- Fit trims, seals, vents, skylights, and roofing accessories
- Read and work from technical drawings and build specifications
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Ensure all work meets quality, weatherproofing, and safety standards
- Work to production targets while maintaining high attention to detail
- Collaborate with other trades and production teams throughout the build process
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Roofer (essential)
- Strong practical roofing skills with good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of health & safety within a manufacturing or construction environment
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to producing high‐quality work
