We are currently recruiting a Cab Shop Operative to join a busy caravan manufacturing site based in East Hull. This is a hands-on role within the cab shop area, supporting the production and assembly of caravan cabs to a high standard. Full PPE suits are provided to ensure safety and comfort while on site.
Key Responsibilities- Working within the cab shop area on caravan manufacturing
- Assisting with assembly, preparation, and fitting of cab components
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Preparing materials and work areas for production tasks
- Supporting skilled operatives where required
- Carrying out manual handling duties in line with H&S guidelines
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
- Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures at all times
- Working as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or cab shop environments preferred
- Ability to use hand tools and follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and develop skills
