Adecco is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Warehouse Administrator to join their established team in Huddersfield. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual looking to develop their career within warehouse administration, inventory control, and supply chain operations in a successful manufacturing environment.
Working closely with the Warehouse Manager, Production, Planning, and Purchasing teams, you will play a key role in ensuring stock accuracy, supporting daily warehouse operations, and maintaining efficient administrative processes.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
- Friday: 7:30am - 12:30pm
- 37.5 hours per week
Salary & Benefits
- £26,000 per annum
- 8% company pension contribution
- Annual performance-related bonus

The Role
As a Warehouse Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
- Processing goods received and ensuring deliveries are accurately recorded within the ERP system
- Updating stock records and maintaining inventory accuracy
- Producing and issuing picking lists, delivery notes, and shipping documentation
- Supporting stock control activities, including cycle counts and stock adjustments
- Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies
- Raising purchase orders and tracking supplier deliveries
- Liaising with suppliers, transport providers, and internal departments regarding orders and deliveries
- Assisting with dispatch administration, including courier bookings and shipment tracking
- Maintaining accurate warehouse and inventory records
- Supporting health and safety, quality, and housekeeping standards across the warehouse operation
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience within a warehouse administration, logistics, stock control, or manufacturing environment
- Good IT skills, including experience using ERP, warehouse management, or business systems
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple departments
- A positive and flexible attitude with a willingness to learn
- The ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively
