Role: HSSE Coordinator Location: Cottam Development Centre and Killingholme (hybrid / flexible) Duration: 9 Months Job Purpose Oversee the site compliance with all statutory and legislative requirements relating to the clients health, safety, security and environment (HSSE) activities across Cottam Development Centre, Gas Pipelines and Killingholme. Lead interface to internal and external bodies such as Central Safety Team and UK Health and Safety Executive. Main Responsibilities Implement HSSE strategy, working with the appropriate functional leads and HSSE colleagues across the business and externally. Point of contact for site security matters, delivering directly, co-ordinating, or having knowledge and input into all site security activities, systems and projects which may affect Security risk. Develop, implement and communicate HSSE initiatives for day-to-day, project and outage activities, including coordinating and delivering dip-checks, audits and safety walks for CDCPK team and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with all permits, legislative and statutory requirements. Manage the on-site EUETS process ensuring timely data processing as required by the Uniper. Ensuring all procedures are maintained and organising any external and internal auditing requirements Ensure operational excellence and deliver continuous improvement approach based through the use of recognised models. Monitor and report on HSSE statistics to evaluate performance, learn from incidents and develop improvement programmes. Prepare, interpret and deliver KPI information for weekly and monthly performance dialogues. Oversee all emergency plans, statutory inspections and ensure procedures are appropriately communicated and trained. Deputy responsible person for Legionella control Development, implementation, review and management of local HSSE procedures. Leading internal/external audits to demonstrate compliance and continuous improvement Key skill requirements Educated to a HNC/degree level or equivalent, or with equivalent extensive and relevant experience. Holding NEBOSH NGC qualification or higher Knowledge of current policies and procedures which affect the management and operations of engineering assets & Power Stations. A track record of applying continuous improvement techniques to improve performance / systems
