HR Digital Project Manager

Location: Crewe, Cheshire (2 days per week onsite). Contract: Fixed-term until 31st March 2026. Engagement: PAYE only. Hours: 37 hours per week (core hours, typically 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm). Department: HR. Reports to: HR Digital Transformation Manager.

Overview

Drive Digital Transformation at a World-Leading Luxury Automotive Brand. This is a unique opportunity to join one of the world’s most iconic and innovative luxury automotive manufacturers. As an HR Digital Project Specialist, you will be responsible for embedding digital change across the organisation, working closely with multiple internal and external teams at all levels. The business already has a clear HR digital roadmap and solutions in place – including initiatives such as employee engagement surveys, travel compliance, new learning platforms, and the use of AI tools. Your role will be to ensure these, and future projects are successfully delivered, adopted, and embedded, enabling a seamless colleague experience and maximum return on investment. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously will be key to your success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver a portfolio of HR digital projects, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Partner with HR, IT, Digital, external suppliers, and wider business teams to embed new digital solutions effectively.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and communication across multiple levels of the organisation to ensure adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Build strong business cases for digital transformation initiatives to secure resources and funding.
  • Benchmark and research emerging HR technologies, ensuring the organisation remains at the forefront of innovation.
  • Lead change, communication, and training activities to ensure successful embedding of new ways of working.
  • Support governance and maintenance of core HR systems (including SAP, SuccessFactors, Workflow, and SharePoint).
  • Coach colleagues on project and change management methodologies to build capability across the HR team.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable project management experience (PRINCE2 Practitioner, Agile or similar qualification preferred).
  • Proven experience embedding digital change and leading adoption across diverse teams.
  • Strong HR system knowledge (e.g. SuccessFactors) is desirable but not essential.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint and Microsoft Project (desirable).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A degree in Business, Management, IT, or a related discipline.
