Are you passionate about driving change and supporting strategic HR initiatives within the education sector? We are seeking a HR Business Partner to join a forward-thinking and dynamic people and culture team. This is a high-impact role that supports senior leaders across multiple business areas, shaping workforce strategy, driving organisational change, and championing an inclusive and high-performing culture.
In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders using data-driven insights to influence and shape workforce strategy, lead change, and coach managers through complex people challenges. You will play a key part in attracting, developing and retaining top talent while leading on impactful organisational transformation.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a strategic partner to shape workforce direction by delivering expert HR advice, data-driven insights, and collaborative solutions to empower senior leaders to make informed decisions.
- Lead on workforce planning, talent management, and organisational development initiatives.
- Use workforce analytics and strategic planning to deliver clear insights, identify risks and opportunities, and support proactive decision making and change across the business area.
- Drive change management programmes, including restructures and cultural transformation.
- Lead and support change initiatives by coaching managers, driving restructures and embedding inclusive and innovative approaches, ensuring compliance, collaboration with unions and alignment with organisational values.
- Champion diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing across the organisation.
- Significant experience in delivering generalist HR services in complex organisations, with a proven ability to influence and coach managers.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices, particularly within the education sector.
- Demonstrable experience in workforce planning, succession planning and talent management.
- Experience of identifying opportunities for, developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives and projects including restructuring and redundancy activities.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyse complex data to identify patterns, trends and risks, and evaluate the impact of initiatives and identify strategic people recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement and customer service.
- A passion for equality, diversity, and inclusion, and the ability to apply these principles in a practical setting.
- Hold a relevant qualification e.g. CIPD Level 7 or equivalent, or equivalent expertise gained through experience.
