Client Local Authority in Croydon Job Title Housing Income Officer Pay Rate £20.74 an hour PAYE/£26.90 an hour PAYE Hours 36 Hours a week (Mon-Fri) Duration 3 Month Initial Contract Location FULLY OFFICE BASED-5 DAYS A WEEK in Bernard Weatherill House,Croydon Description Job Purpose: >To maximise the collection of rent and service charge income for a patch of approximately 1000 secure and non-secure Council tenants. >To ensure that arrears collection methods and debt advice services to tenants are delivered in a sensitive and customer-orientated manner. >To undertake all aspects of arrears recovery on accounts up to and including legal action; including home visits, giving evidence at court and attendance at evictions.
