Role Overview
As a Bulk Operative, you will play a key role in the safe and efficient preparation of raw materials used in production. This hands‑on role involves accurately weighing and mixing ingredients, operating machinery, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping.
Key Responsibilities
- Weigh and prepare raw ingredients according to production recipes, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Lift and handle bags and containers up to 25kg safely and in line with manual‑handling procedures.
- Operate mixing, blending, and associated machinery, ensuring correct settings and smooth operation.
- Follow detailed batch sheets and production instructions to maintain product quality and traceability.
- Load ingredients into mixers and monitor processing times and equipment performance.
- Complete production paperwork, including weights, batch numbers, and processing checks.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working area, adhering to hygiene, GMP, and safety procedures.
- Report equipment faults, material issues, or safety concerns promptly to the Supervisor or Team Leader.
- Support wider production activities as required to meet schedules and output targets.

- Comfortable lifting up to 25kg regularly as part of daily duties.
