The role of the Production Planning Engineer is to be the on-shift escalation point for any Production Planning queries.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out the day to day Production Planning duties to include, building robust production plans for maintenance inputs, building work packages in AMOS and inputting technical data.
- Perform reviews of work packages to ensure all consumables, expendables and tooling have been fully identified and can be made readily available for any planned maintenance input.
- Ensure regulatory requirements for Production Planning are adhered to at all times.
- Build accurate Man Hour and Hangar Bay plans for review by Management and/or QA.
- Represent Production Planning during internal and external audits.
- Take ownership of department objectives and goals.
- Work closely with the Lead Production Planning Engineer in creating cross team dynamics and ensure all processes and procedures are monitored and kept up to date.
- Monitor compliance through sampling.
- Participate or host required pre-input meetings.
- Continuously monitor processes to ensure maximum efficiency can be achieved.
- Ensure prior to start of input there has been no revision changes to the approved data.
Qualifications:
- Be able to work unsupervised but also be a team player who will grasp opportunities to exceed the expectations of internal and external customers.
- Previous experience of using the AMOS system.
- Aircraft Engineering Degree preferable.
- Experience of working in a maintenance planning environment.
- Must have excellent organisation skills and the ability to work under pressure.
