Location: Chigwell, Essex

Are you an experienced and confident HLTA who thrives in a dynamic, relationship-led environment? Do you have the resilience, flexibility and passion to support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs?

As a HLTA, you will be a key part of the team, delivering high-quality support across the school. You will take the lead in classrooms when required and deliver targeted interventions that make a meaningful difference to pupils' academic and emotional progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver planned lessons and provide class cover during PPA time and short-term teacher absence
  • Lead targeted interventions (1:1 and small groups), including catch-up, overlearning and bespoke support programmes
  • Work flexibly across classes and provision areas in response to pupil and staffing needs
  • Adapt learning activities to meet diverse needs, including SEMH and SEND
  • Monitor, record and report on pupil progress, engagement and outcomes
  • Contribute to a calm, structured and nurturing learning environment
