Are you an organised administrator with a passion for delivering exceptional events and outstanding customer service? Our client, a leading university in High Wycombe, is looking for a Senior Registry Administrator (Awards & Ceremonies) to play a key role in delivering annual graduation ceremonies for approximately 3,500 students and their guests, while supporting the production of certificates, transcripts and academic awards. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coordinating complex events, and takes pride in delivering a first-class experience for students, staff and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate large-scale graduation ceremonies and events.
- Recruit, train and coordinate temporary event support staff.
- Liaise with external suppliers, including gown hire companies, photographers and caterers.
- Manage logistics including ticketing, room bookings and seating allocations.
- Develop and deliver communications to students, staff and guests.
- Update graduation webpages and support promotional activities.
- Support the production and quality assurance of certificates and transcripts.
- Analyse data, prepare reports and contribute to process improvements across the Awards & Ceremonies function.
What We're Looking For
- A-level education (or equivalent) with GCSE Maths and English.
- Experience organising large-scale events or working in a customer-focused environment.
- Strong administrative skills, ideally within a Higher Education setting.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications and digital systems.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work to tight deadlines.
