About the Role
The Scheduling Coordinator plays a crucial role by coordinating engineer schedules, managing resources, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring high levels of communication with clients and internal teams. You will help facilitate the smooth delivery of engineering activities, track KPIs, support billing processes, and contribute to the overall performance of the service function. The ideal candidate will have strong scheduling experience within the engineering or manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling & Coordination
- Provide administrative and scheduling support, ensuring delivery against internal service standards and targets.
- Maintain and update the engineering resource planner weekly, ensuring accurate progress tracking and resource availability.
- Lead forward planning of engineering resources to meet response times, SLAs, and internal KPIs.
- Schedule and manage engineers' holidays to maintain service coverage.
- Coordinate, schedule, and re-schedule engineer tasks, ensuring completion within agreed timeframes.
- Ensure engineers receive all required documentation and information for efficient and compliant work.
- Review orders and contract T&Cs to confirm services are achievable within resource and scheduling constraints.
- Prepare and issue quotations for remedial works, minor works, critical spares, and upgrade recommendations from engineer visits.
- Monitor and report on customer satisfaction metrics and service KPIs, including response times and reporting performance.
- Support additional duties as required to meet business needs.
