About the Role

As a Junior Laboratory Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting our laboratory operations. Your attention to detail and organisational skills will help maintain high standards of quality control and hygiene, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organise Samples: Maintain an archive of product and raw material samples, ensuring full traceability at all times.
  • Quality Checks: Prepare and select samples for routine quality assessments, ensuring timely availability.
  • Record Keeping: Keep production records current and well-organised, updating stock systems as samples are used.
  • Hygiene Standards: Ensure that tasting and laboratory areas are clean and hygienic, managing dishwashers and equipment.
  • Documentation: Scan, upload, and file documents accurately within our internal systems.
  • Supplier Support: Assist in the management and organisation of supplier documentation.
  • General Lab Tasks: Support additional projects and assist with quality testing of raw materials and finished products.
  • Sensory Evaluations: Help with sensory evaluations, including taste and odour testing, and accurately record results.
  • Sample Collections: Arrange microbiological sample collections and ensure laboratory supplies are correctly ordered, received, and stored.
  • Test Results: Record and check test results, escalating any issues as necessary.
