Production Operative Opportunity
Our client, a well-established and respected manufacturing business in the Hull area, is seeking a reliable and motivated Production Operative to join their production team. Key Responsibilities
- Operate a range of production machinery within a manufacturing environment.
- Set up and run machinery to meet production requirements.
- Carry out basic machine maintenance and equipment checks.
- Maintain high standards of quality control and accuracy.
- Use pallet trucks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve production targets.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Assist with other production-related duties as required.
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or machine operating environment.
- Experience working to deadlines and production targets.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Basic IT skills.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine machine maintenance.
- Reliable, punctual, and organised approach to work.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Physically capable of manual handling duties, including lifting and carrying.
- Flexibility to work shifts when required.
Desirable
- Experience operating production or conversion machinery.
- Experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Forklift or pallet truck experience.
- Experience working with quality-focused products.
