Location: Hull

Annual salary: £35,373

Working Hours: Rotating 12‑hour shifts

  • Days: 06:30 – 18:30
  • Nights: 18:30 – 06:30

Rotating shift pattern with scheduled rest days; no regular weekend work except Sunday evening starts when transitioning onto night shifts. Shift pattern currently under review, with potential move to 8‑hour, 5‑day shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in line with health, safety, and operational standards
  • Issue blending and packing instructions based on production requirements
  • Carry out testing of materials against specifications
  • Identify and implement adjustments to ensure product quality
  • Take action to resolve process or product issues
  • Maintain accurate records and sample traceability
  • Prepare and package samples as required

Collaboration

  • Work alongside Shift Supervisors to meet production targets
  • Provide clear instructions to Production Operatives
  • Liaise with Maintenance teams to resolve equipment or process issues

Problem Solving & Decision Making

  • Identify causes of non‑conforming materials and implement corrective actions
  • Support process adjustments to achieve required specifications
  • Contribute to effective handling of out‑of‑spec materials
