We are currently recruiting an experienced Reach Forklift Truck Driver to join a busy and well-established operation in HU7. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and safety-focused individual looking for steady work on a structured rotating shift pattern.
Shift Pattern (3-Week Rotation)
- Week 1: 6:00am - 2:00pm
- Week 2: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
- Week 3: 10:00pm - 6:00am
Pay Rates
- Days: £13.86 per hour
- Nights: £14.86 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Reach Forklift Truck to move, stack, and retrieve materials safely and efficiently
- Load and unload goods from vehicles and production areas
- Transport raw materials and finished products to designated warehouse locations
- Support production teams by supplying materials as required
- Carry out general warehouse duties when needed
- Ensure accurate stock movement and record-keeping using warehouse systems
- Complete daily safety checks and basic forklift maintenance
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised working environment
- Follow all health & safety regulations and company procedures at all times
Requirements
- Valid Reach Forklift Truck licence (RTITB or equivalent - in date)
- Previous experience operating a Reach Truck in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Ability to work a rotating shift pattern, including nights
- Strong knowledge of health & safety practices
- Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
