We're seeking an experienced Head of Consumer & Market Insight to join a leading global FMCG organisation on an interim basis. This is an outstanding opportunity for a senior insight professional to shape consumer strategy across high-profile beauty categories, influencing commercial decisions and driving growth through consumer-centric thinking.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will lead the delivery of actionable consumer, shopper and market insights that inform strategic decision-making across the UK & Ireland business.
The Opportunity
- Lead the consumer intelligence strategy across key beauty categories
- Provide deep consumer, shopper and market understanding to support business growth
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity and changing consumer behaviours
- Translate complex data into clear commercial recommendations

Essential Experience
- Significant experience in Consumer Insights, Market Insight or Consumer Intelligence roles
- Proven success applying insights within a fast-moving FMCG environment
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research expertise
- Excellent commercial awareness and business acumen
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and leadership teams
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret multiple data sources
- Strong presentation and storytelling capabilities
- Experience delivering complex projects within tight timelines
- A proactive, solution-focused approach with excellent relationship-building skills
Ideal Background
- FMCG, Beauty, Retail or Consumer Goods experience
- Category, brand or shopper insight expertise
- Experience working within matrix organisations
- Strong understanding of digital consumer behaviour and evolving shopper journeys
