Customer Services Administrator Part-Time | 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract in Havant, Hampshire.
Hours: Flexible on start/finish times, approximately 6 hours per day, 5 days per week, Monday to Friday. Approx: 27.5 Hour week.
Salary: £26,000 - £26,500 pro rata (£13.30 - £13.60 per hour).
Adecco is proud to be working exclusively with an established and growing business, offering an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Administrator to join their Operations team on a part-time, 6-month fixed-term contract. There is a possibility for the contract to be extended for the right individual.
This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused and organised individual who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys building strong relationships with customers. You'll play a key role in ensuring a smooth customer journey, from handling enquiries and processing orders through to coordinating deliveries and providing outstanding service.

What You'll Be Doing
- Customer Service & Administration: Responding to customer enquiries via telephone and email in a professional and timely manner. Providing accurate information regarding product availability, lead times, and pricing. Building positive relationships with customers and delivering an outstanding service experience. Managing shared inbox enquiries and ensuring all requests are actioned efficiently.
- Order Processing & Logistics: Processing customer orders accurately using internal systems. Checking stock availability and coordinating product dispatches. Arranging deliveries. Placing orders with third-party suppliers and monitoring progress through to delivery. Generating pro-forma invoices when required. Maintaining accurate customer records and completing daily administration tasks.
- Customer Relationship Management: Keeping customers updated on order progress, lead times, and delivery schedules. Developing strong relationships with both new and existing customers. Working collaboratively with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure a seamless service.
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service, sales support, or administration role.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
- Positive, professional, and customer-focused approach.
Desirable:
- Experience using ERP systems or similar business software.
