As a Senior Accountant, you'll manage your own portfolio of clients while providing technical guidance and support to colleagues. The Role Key responsibilities will include: Preparing, reviewing and submitting accounts and tax returns for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies. Managing a varied portfolio of SME clients. Reviewing work completed by junior team members and providing coaching and technical support. Advising clients on tax planning and tax-efficient strategies. Providing business advisory services, including budgeting, cashflow forecasting and profitability reviews. Preparing and reviewing bookkeeping, VAT and CIS returns where required. Conducting year-end client meetings and presenting financial insights. Supporting the onboarding and integration of new clients. Liaising with HMRC and Companies House on behalf of clients. Managing client relationships and delivering an outstanding customer experience. Supporting the training and development of colleagues across the team. About You You'll be an experienced practice accountant who enjoys building strong client relationships and supporting others to succeed. Essential Requirements ACCA, ACA, ATT, AAT or equivalent professional qualification. A minimum of 5 years' accountancy practice experience. Strong experience preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and tax returns. Excellent understanding of UK tax legislation and compliance. Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Dext and FreeAgent. Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills. Excellent communication and organisational abilities. Why Join?
