Adecco are looking for a CAD Design Engineer to become part of our clients expanding team, focusing on lift installations. This role will involve producing accurate, site-specific lift and builders work drawings for a variety of accessibility lift projects. The successful candidate will also be responsible for carrying out site surveys, communicating with clients and contractors, and ensuring all technical drawings and project information are correct and meet required standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed CAD drawings for lift installations tailored to individual site requirements.
  • Prepare builders work drawings, including structural openings, pit specifications, electrical requirements, and related construction details.
  • Carry out site surveys to obtain measurements, assess installation suitability, and identify any possible design or installation challenges.
  • Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings accurately.
  • Work closely with architects, builders, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are coordinated effectively.
  • Update and amend drawings throughout the progression of projects.
  • Ensure all drawings are completed in line with relevant regulations, standards, and company procedures.
  • Provide technical support and information to the sales and project management teams when needed.
  • Keep project documentation and drawing records organised and up to date.
