Job Description Electronics Inspector Location: The Opportunity We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturer operating within a high-reliability electronics environment. Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Electronics Inspector to join their Quality team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with experience inspecting electronic assemblies, PCBAs, and finished products within a regulated manufacturing environment. Carry out visual and functional inspections of electronic assemblies, PCBAs, wiring, and finished products. Perform first-off, in-process, and final inspections throughout the manufacturing process. Verify products against engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), work instructions, and quality standards. Identify component, assembly, and cosmetic defects, including soldering faults, placement errors, and wiring discrepancies. Use inspection equipment including microscopes and vernier callipers. Complete quality documentation accurately and maintain full product traceability. Ensure compliance with IPC standards, customer specifications, and internal quality procedures. Work collaboratively with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve quality issues. Candidate Requirements Essential Previous experience within an electronics manufacturing or inspection role. Good understanding of electronic components and PCB assemblies. Experience of quality inspection techniques and processes. Experience using microscopes, measuring equipment, and electronic test equipment. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality systems. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Experience working within aerospace, defence, or other high-reliability manufacturing sectors. Ability to complete inspection records and quality documentation accurately. Working Environment Manufacturing and production-based environment.
