Are you a passionate Chef de Partie looking to make a real difference? Adecco Romford & London East are seeking a skilled and flexible Chef de Partie to join a dedicated catering team within a care environment, helping to provide high-quality, nutritious meals for patients, visitors and staff.

Working across a Production Kitchen, Café/Restaurant and ward kitchens, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding food quality, maintaining exceptional hygiene standards and supporting a compassionate care environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook fresh, high-quality meals, including breakfast, lunch and dinner
  • Support menu planning and contribute ideas for menu development and service improvements
  • Supervise and guide Catering Assistants, Porters
  • Ensure full compliance with Food Safety, HACCP, Health & Safety, COSHH and company procedures
  • Complete food safety documentation and maintain accurate records
  • Carry out cleaning and equipment maintenance checks to ensure a safe and hygienic kitchen environment

What We're Looking For

  • Previous Chef de Partie or strong Chef experience within a high-volume catering environment
  • Excellent knowledge of food hygiene, food safety and health & safety standards
  • Ability to lead by example and support junior team members
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • A flexible and proactive approach with the ability to adapt to changing service needs
  • Passion for delivering high-quality food with exceptional customer service

Flexibility Required: This is a 5 days out of 7 rota-based role. Availability to work weekends, bank holidays and religious festivals is essential.
