Job Title: Senior Skills and Education Co-ordinator
Location: Lincoln, primarily on-site with some flexibility
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Initially 6 months (long-term potential)
Hours: 37 hours per week (7.5 hours Monday to Thursday, 7 hours Friday)
Pay Rate: £20.79 per hour PAYE / £28 per hour UMB
Compliance: Mandatory Basic DBS check

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Skills and Education Co-ordinator to join their dynamic team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the development, implementation, and management of various educational initiatives and programmes. This position requires a strategic thinker with a passion for education and a strong understanding of skills development in diverse populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage educational programmes aimed at enhancing skills and competencies for various target groups.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including educational institutions, community organisations, and industry partners, to identify skill gaps and opportunities for training initiatives.
- Conduct needs assessments and evaluations to ensure that programmes are effective and aligned with the organisation’s goals.
- Oversee the delivery of training sessions, workshops, and seminars, ensuring high-quality educational experiences for participants.
- Monitor and report on programme outcomes, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Lead a team of educators and trainers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
- Stay informed about trends in skills development, education policy, and best practises to ensure the organisation remains at the forefront of educational innovation.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring financial accountability and sustainability of programmes.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning within the organisation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A relevant degree in Education, Training, Human Resources, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is desirable.
- Significant experience in educational programme development and management, particularly in skills development.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire others.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience in managing and developing teams.
- Knowledge of current educational policies, practises, and trends in skills development is essential.
