Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 07:00 - 15:00
We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Manufacturing Cleaning Operator with our client, an innovative organisation near Leeds. If you have experience working in a production environment and possess the ability to work with small parts, disassemble, clean, and reassemble them in the correct sequence, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Timely cleaning of industrial components with the aid of COSHH assessed substances, while working to strict deadlines
- Using dry ice blasting equipment or industrial wash machines to clean motors, gearboxes, and miscellaneous components
- Moving and preparing materials as necessary to support production activities
- Recycling (and/or reusing) waste/consumable materials as per Company requirements
- Taking responsibility for Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) by ensuring control measures are in place, supporting the zero harm culture, and actively reporting near misses, accidents/incidents
- Participating in continuous improvement activities and promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the production area
- Contributing to quality, cost, and delivery performance targets set by the company
What we're looking for:
- Experience in a production environment
- Ability to work with small parts and follow technical instructions and/or diagrams
- Previous use of power tools, ideally blast machinery for cleaning of surface materials
- Any mechanical knowledge would be beneficial
- Previous experience as an operator or working in an assembly or manufacturing process would be highly advantageous
- Cleaning experience is not necessary as all training will be provided
Please note that random Drugs & Alcohol testing is undertaken at the site.
