Key Responsibilities

  • Performing day-to-day reactive and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Conducting planned maintenance activities, including fire alarm testing, emergency lighting checks, and water hygiene monitoring.
  • Carrying out regular building patrols to identify maintenance needs and health & safety risks.
  • Completing scheduled flat inspections and addressing any identified issues promptly.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities, including gas safety inspections and PAT testing.
  • Ensuring all property documentation files are up-to-date and compliant.
  • Adhering to health and safety policies, including managing risk assessments and method statements.
  • Engaging with students to understand and address their needs.
  • Key Requirements
  • A relevant qualification in plumbing, joinery, or electrical systems (preferred).
  • Previous experience in domestic electrical/plumbing/general maintenance.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to prioritise your own workload effectively.
  • A willingness to work collaboratively with the team, including covering reception and admin duties.
