Adecco Manchester are pleased to be partnered with one of the UK's leading Assistive Technology providers to recruit for an Ergonomic Assessor and Installation Engineer based in Bristol.

Location: Bristol

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Overtime: Two fixed overtime days of your choosing (Monday-Thursday until 7:00 PM to accommodate evening bookings)

Work place: Field based around Bristol and surrounding areas

Salary: Up to £29,000 depending on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ergonomic assessments and work space evaluations
  • Identify ergonomic risks and recommend tailored solutions
  • Deliver, assemble, and install ergonomic furniture such as chairs, desks, and laptop stands
  • Solve problems related to customised workstation setups
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice
  • Optimise work spaces by reorganising layouts when necessary
  • Maintain tools and ensure ergonomic assessment demonstration equipment is ready for use
  • Keep accurate records of assessments, inventory, and client interactions
  • Collaborate with other assessors when required for larger projects

Candidate Requirements:

  • Prior experience in ergonomics is highly desirable but not essential
  • Strong customer-centric approach with excellent listening skills
  • Ability to understand client concerns and tailor ergonomic solutions accordingly
  • Technical proficiency in setting up and adjusting furniture
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Manual labor capability, including heavy lifting where required
  • Excellent communication and professional demeanor
  • Valid driving license (maximum of 3 penalty points)
  • Happy to adhere to an Enhanced DBS check upon receipt of offer
