My client, a leading name in their global industry, is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Functional Test Engineer with significant experience with the FINEOS platform.

The Test Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, and executing tests in a Fineos ecosystem.
  • Documenting and executing high-quality test plans for the Fineos platform functional areas under custom development, configuration, and test.
  • Analysing complex requirements and reviewing functional and end-to-end acceptance criteria to ensure they are fit for purpose, testable, and can have tests developed to explicitly test and guide acceptance.
  • Creating comprehensive and well-defined test scripts that are traceable back to requirements.
  • Executing functional, regression, and integration test scripts.
  • Participating in defect triage discussions and questioning development perception of severity.
  • Working as part of a scrum team.

Successful candidates will have hands-on experience testing the Risk claims module of the Fineos Insurance Platform. You will also be comfortable with:

  • Running regression tests.
  • E2E Testing.
  • UAT support.
  • Defect reporting (JIRA/Azure/Test Rail or other).

Proven experience working in the Life/Pensions industry is essential. My client is looking for a front-end functional manual tester with hands-on experience of the functionality user flows on Fineos Versions 24.8 to 22.5, including Fineos Claims, Fineos Content Store, and Fineos API (Claimant & Employer). My client will consider standalone test engineers, and there is also a need for test leads.
