Overview

Job Title: Forklift Driver (B1 counterbalance)

Location: Outskirts of Canterbury

Contract: Temporary to permanent

Pay, shift patterns and benefits

Pay rate (days): £12.90 rising to £13.45 after three months successful probation

Pay rate (nights): £13.76 rising to £14.31 after three months successful probation

Hours (days): Sunday to Thursday 7am-5pm during training. Then 7am-7pm Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday.

Hours (nights): Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday, 7pm-7am

Responsibilities

  • Operating a counterbalance forklift to move wooden and plastic pallets / bins in the yard and/or packhouse.
  • Stock bins / pallets.
  • Unload fruit into bins.
  • Loading and unloading fruit from storage and taking fruit to the lines to be graded.

Qualifications

  • Have a valid counterbalance licence (B1).
  • Are confident forklift drivers.
  • Safety boots and hi-vis attire are required for this role.
