Role Purpose
To safely operate forklifts to unload incoming deliveries (approx. 6 lorries per day), while supporting warehouse production and operational activities throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Forklift Operations
- Unload up to 6 lorries daily
- Ensure all goods are handled safely and efficiently
- Accurately check deliveries against paperwork
- Report any damages, shortages, or discrepancies immediately
- Store stock in designated warehouse locations
- Warehouse Production Support
- Support production operations outside of unloading times
- Picking, packing, and preparing goods for dispatch
- Assisting with labelling, assembly, or processing tasks
- Helping maintain productivity across the warehouse
- General Warehouse Duties
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment
- Follow all health safety regulations
- Perform daily forklift checks and report any issues
- Assist with stock counts and inventory control
