What You'll Be Doing

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across plant and machinery.
  • Respond to breakdowns, diagnose issues and carry out repairs to minimise downtime.
  • Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Complete Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) and maintain accurate engineering records.
  • Work collaboratively with other engineers and shift teams to prioritise work effectively.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed safely in line with Health & Safety procedures and permit-to-work systems.

What We're Looking For

  • Experienced Electrician (cross‑skilled preferred).
  • HNC, City & Guilds or equivalent recognised engineering qualification.
  • Strong fault‑finding skills and experience working with a wide range of machinery.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Solid understanding of electrical regulations and safe working practices.
  • Flexible, proactive and able to work well under production pressures.
