Position: Food Waste and Hygiene Operative
Location: Norfolk and Norwich Hospital
Shift Start Time: 12.30pm to 8.30pm with 1/2 hr break
About the Role:
As a Catering Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of 14 bustling kitchens. Your day will be filled with various responsibilities that keep our operations running smoothly. Here’s what you can expect:
- Chemical Delivery: Start your shift by delivering essential cleaning chemicals to all 14 kitchens, ensuring that our teams have what they need to create a safe and sanitary environment.
- Food Waste Management: After dinner service, you’ll collect, weigh, and record all food waste from the kitchens. Your attention to detail will help us manage waste effectively as you dispose of it in our state-of-the-art waste digester.
- Supper Service Duties: Continue your work by collecting and recording food waste again during supper service, ensuring that our waste management procedures are followed meticulously.
- General Assistance: Support your fellow team members with any additional tasks as requested by the manager on shift. Your teamwork will contribute to a positive and productive atmosphere.
