We're currently recruiting for a Food Service Assistant to join a busy and welcoming catering team in St Andrews.

Starting as a temporary 4-week assignment, this role offers the potential for longer-term and permanent opportunities for the right candidate.

- What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting with basic food preparation, including preparing ingredients and supporting food service operations
- Preparing counters, displays and service areas before meal service
- Serving food and beverages in a professional and friendly manner
- Maintaining attractive and well-stocked food displays
- Clearing and cleaning tables, dining areas and service points
- Carrying out dishwashing and general cleaning duties
- Providing excellent customer service to customers and visitors
- Responding helpfully and efficiently to customer queries and requests
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and health and safety
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
