We are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant / Credit Controller to join our client's finance team on a temporary basis in Southend-on-Sea. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong finance administration or credit control experience who is confident working in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Southend-on-Sea
Role: Temporary
Hours: 37.5 per week
Rate: £12.71 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Applying daily payments from bank statements to the CRM system (Tramps/Phoenix)
- Carrying out account reconciliations
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Uploading invoices via the SAP portal
- Processing refunds and client overpayments
- Liaising with clients regarding invoice payments via telephone and email
- Providing a professional and confident telephone manner at all times
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a finance assistant or credit control role
- Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Comfortable using CRM systems and finance software (SAP desirable)
- Able to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
