About the Role
We are currently seeking a Finance & Admin Assistant to support our busy Operations team. This is a varied and hands‑on role suited to someone who is proactive, highly organised, and confident working within a finance environment. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and experience managing both finance and administrative tasks. You will play a key role in ensuring finance processes run smoothly while also providing wider office and team support.
Key Responsibilities
- Finance Duties
- Preparing and sending invoices using accounting software (including approving invoices drafted by others)
- Managing purchase orders and credit control
- Processing purchase invoices and staff expenses/mileage claims
- Administering company credit card accounts and chasing missing receipts
- Liaising with external bookkeeping, payroll, and accounting providers
- Managing a shared finance email inbox
- Gathering and collating contract valuation figures for reporting purposes
- Booking and arranging transport and accommodation for staff
- Supporting internal communications, including staff birthdays and work anniversaries
- Assisting with website updates and internal/external social media content
- Running occasional office errands (e.g. post office visits, purchasing gifts, arranging cards or flowers)
- Helping to organise staff meetings, training events, company away days, and social events
- Providing general administrative support and assisting the wider team as required
About You

Essential Requirements
- Proven experience working within a finance department
- Experience using Xero or similar accounting software

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Based within a 30-minute commute of Reigate
