Join Our Team as a General Warehouse Operative! Are you looking for an opportunity in a vibrant and dynamic environment? We are currently seeking a motivated General Warehouse Operative to join our team at Heathrow Airport. If you have experience with electric pallet trucks and are ready to take on a rewarding role, we want to hear from you!
About the Role:
As a General Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring the efficient sortation of archive boxes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Scanning current box labels with our innovative tool to determine whether boxes should be archived or shredded.
- Applying Iron Mountain barcodes to boxes designated for archiving and preparing them for palletisation.
- Collecting and setting aside boxes for shredding until we accumulate a total of 500, at which point they will be sent to ShredIt for secure disposal.
- Moving pallets from the 2nd floor to the ground floor loading bay for collection by Iron Mountain or loading for shredding.
What We're Looking For:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Experience operating electric pallet trucks (a valid licence is required).
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to follow instructions meticulously.
- Strong organisational skills to manage the flow of boxes efficiently.
- A positive attitude and team spirit!
Working Pattern:
Hours: 20 hours per week
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
Time: 10 AM - 4 PM (1-hour lunch break)
Pay rate: £15.50- £17.50 dependant on experience
Location: BRITISH AIRWAYS PLC VANGUARD HOUSE EAST OPERATIONS BASE, VANGUARD WAY, LONDON HEATHROW AIRPORT HOUNSLOW TW6 2FH
