Facilities Operative / FLT Driver
Location: ST4 Stoke on Trent
Working schedule: 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 7:30am - 1:30pm Friday
Rate of pay: £13.06ph
Contract type: Temporary
Adecco are looking for a reliable and adaptable Facilities Operative with an FLT certificate to help keep our client's factory safe, clean and well-maintained.
This is a temporary position for an expected 4 weeks initially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site housekeeping, cleaning and general maintenance
- Emptying waste bins and managing recycling
- Carrying out site inspections and reporting maintenance issues
- Basic repairs, painting and DIY tasks
- Grounds maintenance of internal and external areas
- Maintaining welfare areas, facilities and replenishments of supplies on site where needed, supporting between the contract cleaning activites.
- Supporting contractors, engineering and site improvement projects - e.g the safe movement, relocation or installation of equipment, furniture and other items.
- Ensuring health & safety standards are followed at all times
- Use of FLT where needed
Ideal Candidate:
- Practical, hands-on approach
- Experience in facilities, maintenance or industrial environments
- Able to carry out basic repairs and maintenance tasks
- Good awareness of health & safety
- Reliable and proactive with a strong work ethic
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys keeping facilities running smoothly and takes pride in maintaining high site standards.
