Location: Exeter
Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday to Friday 37 hours per week
Hourly Rate: £13.33 per hour
Contract: Temporary until March 2027
Please note this role will be subject to Police Vetting, you will need to have resided within the UK for a minimum of 3 years.

About the Role
- Processing Applications: Manage and flag any concerns regarding applications, ensuring that all activities support lawful firearms usage.
- Customer Support: Serve as the friendly face of the team, providing expert guidance to callers regarding all aspects of firearms licensing.
- Payment Management: Handle and process payments for certificates with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Mail Management: Receive, sort, and distribute a high volume of mail and emails, ensuring smooth communication flow.
- Applicant Checks: Conduct checks on applicants using Force intelligence systems to uphold safety and compliance.
- Document Management: Accurately record, scan, and archive application documents, maintaining organised records in our databases.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and suggest opportunities for process enhancements to improve team efficiency.
