Key Responsibilities: As an Assistant Human Resources Officer, you will be instrumental in providing comprehensive support to line managers and supervisors in various people management issues. Your main responsibilities will include: Advisory Support: Offering high-quality advice and guidance on Performance and Attendance Management, Police Staff discipline, and management of change, ensuring compliance with Employment Legislation and organisational policies. Attendance Management: Proactively supporting attendance management processes, including monitoring milestones and liaising with managers to address any concerns. Disciplinary Support: Assisting in Police Staff disciplinary processes, conducting inquiries, and drafting essential documentation. Corporate Support: Providing advice regarding employment lifecycle processes, such as flexible working and annual leave, to ensure smooth operations. Documentation Production: Creating informative HR materials and maintaining records to support effective people management.Ideal Candidate Profile: Our client is looking for an individual who possesses: Previous experience in an HR environment, particularly in supporting managers with people management issues. Effective communication skills to provide clear and concise guidance. The ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks. Resilience and assertiveness in handling challenging situations.
